My complaint:
There have been multiple encounters with Doordash agents that either cannot undo a refund where food was NOT delivered and you request a refund and the investigator denies your claim because a photo of the drop off was uploaded. HOWEVER, if you’ve provided the building number AND apartment number and the food you ordered is sitting outside on the street AND Hand it to me is checked off, a refund should be warranted. I was advised they could not undo the request once it has been completed.
I have also been told that I am not allowed to be provided first names of the people I talk to, that can see allllll of my personal information but I am unable to address or hold accountable the people that answer my calls.
I was hung up on TWICE today! The first agent asked if she could put me on hold and the phone started ringing and hung up. I called back and spoke to someone else, gave her my email address and she saw the Doordash credit I asked the previous agent where it was and she said she didn’t see it. This second agent told me that the first agent converted my credit into a refund which she was NOT authorized to do! I planned on using my credit for my anniversary dinner this Saturday but could not locate it. All I needed to know was how to access it since I could not see it. This second agent blatantly hung up in my face!
I am SO sick and tired of paying a monthly fee for services and EVERYBODY is rude and frankly incompetent at this point. I will be looking into taking my services elsewhere because NO ONE paying money for services should have to go through this lack of service when issues arise and NO ONE ever has a satisfactory conclusion. I am utterly disgusted to say the least!
Suggested solution:
I want my CREDIT BACK to my doordash account and the refund for the birthday order that they failed to follow directions and have since deleted the photo of my order sitting on the ground outside of the building versus handing it to the recipient at their apartment number I provided.
