My complaint:
I book a reservation thru booking for a room at Elizabethtown Inn in Roanoke Island for 582021. I was not able to get a rental care on the 58 due to there was no rentals available, all cars was rented out. I call Elizabethtown Inn and explained by situation. They was nice and told be since I book room thru booking they needed someone from booking to call them and they would gladly refund my money with no cancellation fees. I called booking talked to someone named Mohaned M. I informed of what the Inn told me. He put my on hold told me he would handle it, got back on call, he stated he was waiting for them to send ation. I get an email later that day around 7 p.m. stating that I will not get a refund they received 3 different reasons for cancelling my reservation. I called the hotel back and they lady stated that BOOKING sent them 3 different reasons of why i needed to cancel my reservation. 1 i wasn’t able to get a car 2 medical issues 3 reservation was made on wrong day. I tried explain the the lady that the only reason i wasn’t there was because no rental cars was available. I do not know why BOOKING told those lies with the other reasons and when I last spoke to someone it was set for me to get my money back. I call booking back and all i got was the run around no one explaining why lies was told and why I should be out of $170 no fault of my own.
