I prepaid back in March to stay at a property listed on Booking.com. The property was supposed to be a 5 bedroom beach house in Miami FL, that was rented for $3338.82. I prepaid to book the property from June 30, 2022 until July 3, 2022. I ed my stay with Booking.com 3 days prior to travel to let them know my arrival time some that I would be able to check in to the property or to let someone know when I would arrive to the property. When I arrived to Miami I had a car take me to the listed property address but the house was not there. I couldn’t not locate the house or that address at all. I then contact the property manager to the house to get a correct address or directions to the house so that I would be able to check in. The property then began to argue with me about her thinking I wasn’t coming do to a recent death I had in my family. I then told her that I came due to the fact that I couldn’t afford to lost my money for the property due to the property having a non cancelation fee of the full amount for the house. Meaning if I didn’t come I would still be charge full price. Then I explained this to her and let her know that I was in Miami and not interested in arguing with her and that I just was trying to get directions to the property. She then told me she was recording the call and reporting me to the local police for saying I was going burn the property down. I never made a this comment to her and asked her what she was talking about. Then she hung up on me. I then contacted Booking.com to let them know everything. They contacted the property manager and she told them that the property was not ready and I was not allowed to stay on the property at all. So when I asked about my full refund since I was being refused service they told me it was nothing they could do about getting my full refund and that the refund was up to the property manager. I paid for a property that I wasn’t allow to stay in and they refuse to refund me my money back!!!
