My complaint:

I am raising this complaint regarding the captioned order number which was purchased in April 2019. I had a conversation with Wayfair yesterday and was advised to contact you as it was outside of my warranty with them.

I had bought the cot bed in April 2019 to prepare for my daughter who was born in July 2019. I recently converted the cot to a bed as she is now 22 months old. On Saturday night I placed her on the bed and the wood which runs across the base at the front of the bed split open which resulted in the mattress falling down and the nail protruding. This could have harmed her had I not gotten her in time.

This product was meant to last my child much longer than two years so I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the material used to make it. I can no longer put my child on the bed to sleep and it is unfair to expect me to purchase another bed when I had bought one from a reputable company.

Learning yesterday that I have missed the warranty period with Wayfair I am now in a bind regarding getting this corrected. Can you advise me how to move forward regarding this issue? If you require photos of the product do let me know.

Suggested solution:

Replace the product as it is of poor quality.
