My complaint:
15 Dec.2021 I paid over the phone for Azha Desk £171.99 and Handy assembling service £48.99 total £220.98 with promise of delivery next day
16th Dec. and Handy man 17th Dec. In spite of complaining to Customer Services and promises of delivery next day, next day, next day… my parcel didn’t come. I spent a few days at home, cancelled a few appointments waiting for delivery and handy man lost his time. Customer Services were nice but totally useless.
Realizing that the desk won’t come before Christmas I decided to cancel my order 3686252784 over the phone talking to Ms.Alva (?) on 23rd of December at 11am. She promised to send me Email ing cancellation. She didn’t. Next day I spoke to another lady (Sharita Nolan?) ing my cancellation and demanding the Email. Again nothing except empty promises. A week after the cancellation, the parcel which I didn’t want, came to my address, a retirement flat on the first floor of Argent Court. The delivery man used the lift to the first floor, took a photo of the parcel in the corridor. Meanwhile I used the stairs coming down to the ground floor and waiting for the delivery man. I told him about cancellation and asked him to take back the parcel. He went back to the first floor, collected the parcel, came back to the ground floor, took a photo of me and took the parcel back to his van. There were two witnesses of the whole event, a resident and a visitor.
I couldn’t believe when I saw later on track the parcel the info that my parcel was delivered, and the photo of the parcel delivery man took on the first floor as a proof of delivery.
I and my family are using Wayfair from time to time and hoping this incident wouldn’t break our trust in you.
Suggested solution:
The only solution is to pay £220.98 back to my Debit Card.
