My complaint:
I have purchased a ticket on the 19th of June of total amount £269.86 section floor, row 20, seat 13-13, which means for me as a customer seated ticket.
To not my surprise after reading reviews I have received a ticket for standing section and on someone else name.
I have purchased this seated ticket as I can’t stand for long period of time and therefore not able to attend the event as I would be in so much pain after 2 hours of standing.
After never ending email conversations with viagogo I have been informed that they are not able to issue a refund as the floor section is usually standing section?!
Therefore, they have been advertising this ticket under false advertisement, robbing customers of their money.
I want to be issued a refund of full amount £269.86 I have paid, as I wouldn’t have purchased ticket for standing if this would be correctly stated on the website when purchasing the ticket.
Interesting fact is that the person who bought the ticket in March has the same information on their order-section floor, row 20 seat 13, so he/she got scammed too.
They have provided the ticket a day before the event and I have been told that if anything goes wrong they will send me a link with a new ticket or I can request refund, but now when the concert is taking place, they are refusing refund and offering me to re-sell the ticket, which obviously I can’t do anymore.
Looking online, there are hundreds if not thousands people who got scammed by Viagogo recently and in the past.
