My complaint:
I called all the way from America to make sure that I would be able to see my favorite artist Lionel Richie in concert. He was scheduled for Bospop in The Netherlands at a three day festival in Weetz Netherlands on Saturday July 9, 2022. I purchased three tickets for the concert and called customer service from American 3x to Lionel Richie and the price for the tickets. I reluctantly bought a three day pass and was assured that Lionel would be performing! I complained that I was only available to come one day only, Saturday, July 9th, 2022, as I had several other ed commitments for the days proceeding and to follow.I was assured that the performer was scheduled and had not cancelled.
On July 9th at 2:00 I set out with my two guests for a long and expensive journey to the festival. We took the metro to the tren, then took a shuttle bus to the venue. When we arrived we immediately bought food tickets and made our way to purchase food and beverages.
We sat down in the dirt on top of our rain coats to consume our food. A drunken patron sitting in a deck above the bar decided to rain down his beverages on the crowd below. We immediately left that are to inquire about Lionel. At the white tentkiosk we were informed that Lionel was not on the roster to perform. Profoundly disappointed we left immediately.
We were not interested in any of the acts set to perform. In addition the crowd continued to become more intoxicated as time passed and we feared we would be stranded far from home. We traveled for 2 plus hours on our journey back to Amsterdam central.
I sit here composing this letter to you in tears. This was the absolute worst and most expensive birthday presentexperience to myself I have EVER experienced in my 60 years of life.
I pray that your company will do the correct thing and make restitution for this mess of an experience…no fault of mine!
Please refund me my $885.19 which posted and cleared my account on 7622.
