My complaint:
Two complaints, one customer!
1. I sent a 2kg package by UPS (via Transglobal) to the UK to arrive in good time for my daugfhter’s 40th birthday. The pick up was 3 DAYS LATE. The package was held in customs for no apparent reason and the recipient asked FIVE TIMES to give a list of the contents (worth £60). Package finally left on the step, no signature, no explanation, yesterday. It left my home in France on 10 MAY. The collector said they needed no completed forms although I had done them. At one point, UPS told the recipient it would cost £85 in duty…none to pay!
2. I received a package from within France, delivered by UPS. Allegedly it was shown as having been delivered here yesterday. In fact upon investigation it was delivered TO A SMALL BUSINESS 18 KMS AWAY for collection!! No warning, no calls nothing.
I have retained all the paperwork concerning these two parcels, surely a record in 6 weeks by any standards. I paid £40 to get the parcel to England for the birthday – wasted entirely since it arrived almost a month later.
Suggested solution:
GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. I would like to be compensated at least for the cost of the English parcel which was wasted money. I could have walked it there myself. I have put my complaint on social media because such service deserves recognition!
