UPS complaint: Delivery Driver refused to use security doorbell

My complaint:

A UPS driver knocked far too quietly at my door today to deliver me a parcel (14:00). In most circumstances I would not have heard this, though today happened to be an exception. So I opened the door, received the parcel and asked the driver why they didn’t ring my security doorbell. They ended up completely lying to me and in a highly condescending manner, as if I knew nothing about the doorbell installed on my house. Not only did they claim it was a policy from UPS to not use these doorbells (a lie), they also claimed that my doorbell would activate and disturb similar systems installed across other properties in my neighbourhood, which is also not true at all.

Overall, I was highly disappointed with the service I received today. Again, this was because the driver lied to me about his refusal to use my doorbell as well as the poor attitude he had with me when explaining his behaviour. The situation genuinely upset me and I hope the driver is made aware of his actions towards me.

Suggested solution:

Please let the culprit driver be aware of his behaviour towards me. In short, they just need to improve their manners and not speak to people in such a rude and condescending manner!
