UPS complaint: $1000 Package damaged in transit, UPS won’t take responsibility

My complaint:

Sender provided me with photos of package in perfect condition prior to shipping, the package arrived scuffed, dented and protectors hanging off. Obviously damaged while in their care and not treated as fragile, despite the labeling all over the package. 90% to 95% of the 51 units contained inside damaged as a result.

Suggested solution:

Refund of the declared value of the package, $1134.98 and import fees £194.77.
