My complaint:

I attempted to log in to play AC Valhalla, and was notified my online services account was compromised.
When I tried to address it, the password reset link was sent to an email address that was 20 years old, with no way for me to log into it and use the reset link given.
I contacted ubisoft support via their case system, because the morons don’t have a phone number for customers to call.
they asked me to send them screenshots of me logging into 1) my microsoft website account, 2) my xbox profile on my console, and 3) the very email account I told them I was unable to access because per the Email Service Provider, they suspend, deactivate, and delete accounts after 60 days.
After supplying two of the three requested screenshots, and explaining I could not supply the third, AS PER THE EMAIL SERVICES PROVIDER THAT I CALLED, because ubisoft support FORCED ME TO CALL THEM to try and gain access to an email account they no longer have any record of.

The email services provider suggested I screenshot their 60 policy to help bolster my claim from a legitimate source that NO ONE IS ABLE TO ACCESS THAT EMAIL ACCOUNT, Ubisoft continued to refuse cooperation, citing they take security very seriously, even though my account was compromised from their shoddy security in the first place.

I spoke to several ubisoft support members: Ubi-Sythe, Ubi-Noob, Ubi-Dumpling, Ubi-Lumos
And they were all disrespectful and uncooperative, not offering any option for me to verify my identity, despite NUMEROUS attempts by myself to them to ask me security questions, so that I could verify my identity.
Ubisoft has all of the logs (and I did use uncouth language toward them because they were being completely unhelpful and dense), and this caused me such great inconvenience and mental anguish because now I have to abandon gaming pursuits that I invested 126 plus hours into, not to mention I paid to be a member of their services, and should be treated better than this. To get no understanding from this company despite being a 9 year member is insulting and frankly infuriating.

Consider this a formal complaint to Ubisoft and I authorize you to escalate it as far as you can, so that they can feel the consequences of this.

In the attachment below, I very clearly screenshotted my very accessible xbox profile on Microsoft.com, but because my account had been compromised due to shoddy security on ubisoft’s part, they refuse to authorize me based on this evidence. despite asking to provide it.

Suggested solution:

All I asked for, is that I be verified using another method than an email address that is inaccessible AS REPORTED BY THE EMAIL SERVICES PROVIDER.

Ubisoft keeps telling me to contact the email provider, BUT WONT LISTEN WHEN I TELL THEM I DID THAT. AND THEY REFUSE TO COOPERATE WITH ME DESPITE THIS.

Nah Ubi-Dumpling is chill like that. Top tier bloke
