My complaint:

My complaint is about the continuing lack of offline modes in ubisoft games, ever since ghost recon breakpoint they keep releasing online only games and those with single-player campaigns have no offline modes and have to be played online even if you are playing on your own!

The latest being rainbow six extraction which can be played solo but not offline.

The most annoying thing is they never answer questions about whether a game supports offline play and only tell you that after the game has been released.

This should be classed as false advertising and poor customer support.

Suggested solution:

Ubisoft need to change and go back to providing games that can played online and offline.

Games with online DRM are not consumer friendly. They only benefit the company who makes them.

For example Ghost Recon Breakpoint and the new Rainbow Six Extraction game. Both have Denuvo DRM which lowers performance on pc and on top of that both have ubi online only drm which prevents offline gameplay. Both games have single player campaigns but have to be played while online 247.

This should not be a thing in 2022 or even back in 2021, 2020, 2019 etc.

They can keep saying oh but piracy that doesn't fly anymore.

It's all about $$$ and greed.

Also if they plan of not including offline play in a game, the should at least have the common courtesy to indicate online requirements on their game store. (which they neglected to do on both breakpoint and extraction)
