Uber complaint: Driver refused my scheduled ride

My complaint:

I scheduled a ride to be picked up at 9pm on Nov 5, 2021. The driver called me at 8:48pm to ask where I was going. I told him and he said he won’t drive that far so the ride was cancelled. I wasn’t charged a cancellation fee for that ride. I was frantically looking for a ride home and found one. While on the way home I received a text from Uber telling me another driver was on his way. I had no idea they would be sending another driver, the original driver didn’t advise me, none of the texts from Uber advised me. I cancelled the second driver and I did complain that the first driver refused my ride. They gave me a $10.00 Uber credit. I requested a refund for the second driver. I have reached out to support twice about the refund and am not getting a response. I’m unable to rate the original driver because his name doesn’t appear under my trips.

Suggested solution:

Refund the cancellation fee.
