Complaint: My email address was falsely used

My complaint:

A person from another state that I never met set up their account with MY email address. I tried to reach out to UBER to DELETE the account, but after several emails to them of me complaining,, and explaining I did not set up the account and therefore cannot verify anything of the person who stole email to sign up,, they finally changed the email slightly instead. I feel so creeped out that they don’t do anything to ensure that someone is setting up an account with the CORRECT email. There is no way to CALL anyone to correct this. They kept addressing me in the emails as this person’s name and never apologized for allowing this to happen. I told them my name several times, yet the email responses continued to use this STRANGERS Name!!!!!

I don't want my email being used for this or any other person. And I want them to stop signing me up for things!!!!
