My complaint:
Food was delivered 45 minutes later according to ubereats approximate time. Meanwhile, I was trying to get help on the app but all it was saying call the restaurant. Called the restaurant called Dixy chicken several times. Staff members were rude and they did not asked me where I am calling from. Only thing they I will get my order when the delivery man will call me and hung up.
After receiving the food, told the delivery man to take it back as it was cold. He refused and said call the restaurant. Called them again, they never picked up the phone. What else we can do. We tried to the food as we were so hungry and paid £17.06 for pizza, wigs and wedges. Wings were cold and undercooked,(put us off straightaway) pizza was cold and the wedges were crispy as walker crisps.
Complained to ubereats, they refunded me £2.99 and will take 5-10 working days. I don’t know what say. Totally speechless. Please tell me if I am in wrong?!
