My complaint:
I ordered Uber Eats back on the 27.2.21. The food was being prepared and all going well but the expected delivery window came and went. After attempting to cancel the order (which was now over an hour late) and attempting call the restaurant numerous times I ordered from elsewhere.
Our order did finally turn up almost an hour and a half after the latest expected delivery with no update or response from both Uber ears or the restaurant.
I complained to Uber eats the following day and was reassured they would refund me fully. A string of Uber ears “chat” was exchanged over their help access chat. With a continued promise of a full refund which has never emerged. The last repsonse I had from Uber ears was 16.3.21 and theu now are ignoring my requests for an update. I do not believe a refund that I was assured was pending the first week of March should still not have arrived come the first week of April.
Suggested solution:
I believe they quote simply should honour their response and promise of a refund ASAP.
