Subject : Reimbursement of extra luggage charge of 270 Euros into my account

Good Day Sir Madam,

My Self Prateek Sharma, a recent customer of Turkish Airlines and a regular international flyer. I am a merchant navy officer by profession,
and we need to fly for sign on and sign off from different contries around the globe. I am working with a renouned company in shipping industries named as
THOME Ship Management Singapore and Norway. My company have several offices and thousands of employees working under their management from more than 30 years.
I had a service of more than 15 years at sea and flying many a times through different flying operators.

I would like to bring your kind attention towards an incident happened at Malaga International Airport, Spain. My flight was scheduled from Malaga, Spain to Istanbul
on 17th Feb 2023 at 12:15 in Flight No. TK 1304, Turkey and next connecting fligh from Istanbul to Mumbai, India on 17th Feb 2023 at 20:30 in Flight No. TK 720.
I reached at Malaga Airport around 10:40 hrs LT at the desk for dropping luggage bags and collecting my boarding passes with my colleagues.

FYI, we were 4 seafarer together signing off from ship and going on a same destination to Mumbai, India 3 of us and 1 was travelling from same airlines till Istanbul .
and after that to Seol, Korea from turkish airlines. One of my colleague Co-traveller had a smaller bag and not able to accumulate his lauggage in his bags and
requested me to keep some of his luggage in my bag during hotel stay in Algeciras as i was having a bigger trolley bag.

Mistakenly this time our agency booked tickets on different PNR numbers and we were not aware of this. Desk attendend told us that we were having different booking
PNR with same agency therefore luggage weight sharing is not possible. This was first time when we realised about this rule of luggage weight cannot be shared among
passengers who had same destination, same flights mistakenly booked with different PNR. We accept and apologies for the same to the lady operating on the desk.

We requested many times to her for grant us the weight allocation as we all were booked for turkish airlines. Being a seafarer or ship crew I request her
alot but she keep on denying, then I request her to allow me to drop some stuff from my luggage bag to reduce the weight because the amount of 270 euros for me
is my month salary. I started feeling nervous and alone helpless at the airport. The agent who brings us to the airport makes us late to the airport because of traffic
and road closure it took 20 mins more to reach at the airport. Being a seafarer it was not our fault, Fault of agency who booked us at the different PNR numbers and drop
us on the edge of time for the flight. On top of that we request on boarding desk to the lady with the hope to listen our problem but she refused and being so rude and misbehaved
didnot allow me even 5 mins to drop some part of luggage to adjust my self into 40 kgs. And keep on threating me and removing my luggage from the counter and threaten me
not issuing boarding pass unless i pay so. They have wasted over 20 mins on this but not giving me 5 mins to drop my luggage thats very strange and forceful from the
airlines.

Beign a seafarer, we had weight allowance of 40 kgs luggage in our flight tickets and had an experience of 23 kgs with 2 bags for seafarer around the globe which makes 46 kgs all
together for one seafarer as the trolley bag weight itself 3-4 kgs now adays.

Sir Madam, This is my first time expeirence where boarding desk does not even ready to help and intentionally makes me pay a huge amount of money for no reason.
I came from a middle class family and living 6-7 months far from my family for earning and i was feeling helpless while paying 270 euros at the desk even though we had enough
of allowance left for luggage its just it was on a different PNR and one of our colleague going to Manila only weight 24 kgs out of 40 kgs on a Turkish airlines but she has refused
every thing and kept on threatening me.

It was unethical and not professional, I met many flying operators around the globe during my carrer and i never felt like this. I will be Sharing 2 incidents,One had happened in 2008,
I lost my baggages while flying with Cathay Pacific airlines while joining ship , I complaint and they assured me that i will get my luggage in next 4-5 days as it was mistakenly not
carried from other connected flight. I didnot create any scene as a cooperative passenger i understand and peacefully join my vessel.

2nd Incident had happened last year in 2022 with KL (KLM )flights after signed off I didnot receive my luggage at Delhi Airport again i complained and they assured me that in next 4-5
days i will receive my luggage at home and as a cooperative passenger i didnot create any scene peacefullywent home and awaited my luggage.

Madam Sir, these kind of things happened in and out but a relationship between an flight operator and a customer will have to remain remain strong constant. I always takes
things in a positive manner but this is the first time when i felt betrayed and cheated from turkish airline desk staff.

I will attach all the documents of baggages tags and flight tickets of mine and my colleagues and kindly allow me for the reimbursement of my money which was focefully taken from me
under threaten that they will not let me fly if i will not pay which is not at all acceptable behaviour.

I have full faith on Turkish airlines managers who will look personally into this matter and make justice with me.

SirMadam, Being a lower middle class person for me its a huge amount because of others mistake in foreign country i should not be punished or charged where I had no fault.
I will be thankful if you can help me in this matter.
