My complaint:

We booked flights from Phonm Penh to London Heathrow which involved a transfer at Bangkok. We were allowed 1 hour 20 minutes transfer time and assumed our luggage would automatically transfer at Bangkok.

However, we were advised by the airline at Phnom Penh (Voetjet) that they had no transfer agreement with Thai Airways and that we would have to collect our luggage and check in again at Bangkok. This proved impossible given the time allowed so we missed our flight and had to book new flights from Bangkok to Heathrow.

Suggested solution:

Refund the cost of the replacement flights (£671.80p) which we also booked through Trip.com. Evidence of payment has already been sent to them but will be logged on their site anyway.
