My complaint:
In January I purchased eight (8) tickets through the ticketmaster website for Madonna’s world tour for her October 8th show. Last month she fell ill and postponed her whole tour, our show is now in March. It now conflicts with something else. We purposely picked a date that worked for us and they can not expect us to cancel main life events to accommodate their choice of dates. So I’m trying to get a refund. It’s not our fault she got sick and they have plenty of time to resell these tickets.
I initially received an e-mail that the event was rescheduled for March 2nd. However, the rescheduled date still does not show up on the order, in my account. Any attempt to pull up my order through their site leads to an error page, so I can not even see my tickets, I hardly even have proof that I own them.
Communication with them is only through submitting tickets through their website and getting a response within 2 days. Although it usually takes longer and I have to follow up.
At first they said they understood and that they submitted a refund request. After me following up, they then refused, claiming Yes, you purchased it through Ticketmaster website, but this tickets are not came from the Ticketmaster, which Ticketmaster is not the primary seller of this tickets.
I’ve been back and forth with them for a few weeks, they are not sharing anything about who this third party seller. How is it that ticketmaster is not the primary seller if tickets are sold through their website?
I am requesting a full refund for the eight (8) tickets purchase, in the total of $3,322.87
