My complaint:
My complaint is for the Garland salvation army on the on 1st Street in Garland I went to them on 7/18/2023 to ask for help on a light bill they denied me they was rude the very first time when I moved in these apartments they told me I have to live here for 3 months to be able to receive help from the salvation army now I’ve been here for one year and they denied me saying they can’t do nothing for me until August I told them I said my Lee said July the 1st they said no it’s August and we won’t help you until August so now they don’t block me where I can’t get in touch with them and I am upset because I want to know why they denied me I never received help from them before normally I pay my own bills I pay my own way but I was having family matters and that I needed help on my light beer here in Garland Texas down to the point I would deny services so I tried to call them back today they ain’t taking no calls they not helping nobody with they bills this is what they saying and if you need help with a bill you got to come in and make up appointment but how can you go in and make appointment when they not receiving you so that’s another problem that I have with the salvation army of Garland Texas on 1st Street here in Garland Texas I feel like my rights have been violated

I feel like my butt my rights have been violated here in Garland Texas I would like to get the issue resolved I've been living here for one year I'm having family matters and I can pay my own way it's just that this month I was having family matters and I needed to go and get some help on the light bill so they wouldn't turn off my lights I'm 66 years old I just needed that help in the salvation army denied me cuz they said you need to be living there for a year Melissa I've been living here for a year but they still denied me that's what I need help with
