My complaint:
I filled out the paper work that was asked of me. I have a female roommate with a child and it asked who all lived in the house. So I put my roommates name with her daughter. When I was waiting to receive food they notified me that my roommate had a file already with them and she needed to be there to get her food. I agreed. I wasn’t trying to hustle anyone , I’ll take food for one . I was just answering the questions on the form. The case worker Marisol Briceno started harrassing me when I was on the phone with my roommate telling her she has to come in to get her food and she interrupts me and says that’s right but you don’t have to be so rude. I wasn’t talking to Marisol , and my roommate that I was talking to knows I wasn’t being rude I was just telling her what Marisol told me . After that , every employee that walked in her office I, was told something about me I could hear Marisol tell them and they come out of her office and just stare me down . I had people in the back just staring at me . I even had to ask the director or whatever to get them to stop. I wasn’t trying to hustle anybody I just answered the questions I was giving. And got treated like a crack head trying to hustle for more food . They called the authorities on me as they harrasaed me to my car and I still don’t know why they did it.. I’m just assuming they thought I was trying to get more food than I was suppos d to. But that wasn’t the case I just answered the paperwork and even agreed to just food for me . Both these individuals bill Ennis and Marisol were very aggressive for I have no clue why
Suggested solution:
I don't want the fired . I appreciate what salvation army does. I just want them to not treat people like that. Nobody was trying to hustle anybody . I just answered the questions on the form , not expecting extra anything . I usually work and don't have to do this .. first time in like 5 y ars I asked for food .. never again. Id rather starve . I'm sorry . Salvation is great but your employees here in mesquite are by far not stable or equipped enough to help struggling people .
