My complaint:

I went to home depot last week and found out my gate card was no longer in system. At that time I did not have time to renew. Today I needed some items for my farm so I went in to renew my gate card. First I went to the service desk they said they could not do it to go to the return desk. When I first used my gate card they did it at the service desk so I knew where to go. The lady at the return desk said I needed to go back to the service desk. So here I go back to service desk. The ladies here said they knew nothing about a gate card so they called a manager. I waited about 5 minutes and the manager arrived. He started taking my info and the ladies gathered around to learn what to do. He started to say 6 feet,6 feet and said he would train them later. I then asked him If i could leave my card and shop while they renewed my card. He said yes and took a picture of my card with his phone and said he would take cars of it. He returned my card to me. . I then started to shop and I took me approximately 45 minute to shop and when I sent to check out I still was not in there system. I told the cashier that I would pay the taxes. After checking out I went back to the service desk to see what the problem was. They Said I needed to go to the appliance desk. Well I was getting kind of upset by this time and a young man there said he would help me. Evidently the manager pawned this of on this young man and went on his way. Well this young man had no clue either. He was needing account numbers and pass code to do this. I told him never mind it would start going to Lowes with my business. This store is very poorly trained and the manager that was supposed to help me was usless.

Suggested solution:

Train their employees and give better customer service.
