My complaint:
1. Received notification that washing machine would be delivered the next day when I returned home the evening of the Feb. 8. Since I had a doctor’s appt. I called the number provided and was given a number to call in the morning when they opened the next day at 7:00 a.m. When I called I explained I needed the delivery to be rescheduled and hoped I was early enough to save them the trip. The person I talked informed me that once the truck left the warehouse, they had no communication with them. The delivery was rescheduled for the following Wednesday.
2. Since the truck was to arrive between 8:00 and 12:00, I waited until 11:20 to see if it was still going to be delivered that day. Since I had not received a call ’30 minutes before arrival’ I thought I might need to arrange to stay home in the afternoon. I called and was rudely told that there was still time, it wasn’t 12:00 yet. At 12:00 I called again and was told the truck was not able to find my house. Since they would have still been on the road at that time, I assume they can communicate with them on the road after all. I asked if they had trouble finding my house, why didn’t they call me? No answer for that. We discussed the renaming of the road on Google Maps and thought the problem was solved. Arranged to have the washer delivered on Friday so I made arrangements to be home then. On Thursday I was notified the date was changed to the 25th. I called and asked why and they couldn’t find a reason. Rescheduled for the 23rd.
2. No show on the 23rd. Waited until 12:00 and then called. I was informed the truck never left San Antonio. I can understand things happening, people sick or trouble with vehicle, but am upset I waited all morning without a phone call to cancel the delivery. Rescheduled for
March 2.
3. Received email the night before with time frame for delivery the next day. At 11:13 a.m. received an email saying they were having a problem with the delivery. I called to find out the problem. It’s my understanding the washing machine was not loaded on the truck. They requested a reschedule for March 4. Since I have no control, they have my washing machine hostage, I agreed.
4. My washing machine was delivered on March 4th.

I am a retired school employee. I now work as a caregiver and sometimes as a substitute. Finding someone to take my place as a caregiver is not easy and means I miss out on income. I believe an apology and some form of in store credit as compensation is appropriate.
