My complaint:

On 5102020 I presented Home Depot cashier my Department of Defense, DD214, honorable discharge documents. I was thanked for my service but no military discount was given. I went to customer service where the manager, at least she said she was, and was told that I need to fill out the Home Depot Military documents. I showed her my DD214 and was told that is not accepted by the hardware store any more. Really? Home Depot thinks that their app carries more weight than an official military document. I’m guessing it’s their way to put veterans on a spam list. It’s a disgrace for a hardware store to dishonor a veteran. Time to move on. There are many other choices other that Home Depot.

Suggested solution:

Home Depot should apologize to all veterans for making this serious blunder to men and women that have taken cause to honor God and Country.
