My complaint:

we visited your location in Dublin, GA on Tues, 120721 and due to a particular employee and your Store Manager, it very well may be my last visit to THIS OR ANY OTHER HOME DEPOT. if employees are allowed to accuse Customers of STEALING, with NO PROOF, then we wont be visiting again. the sad part is we have been shopping at this store for years, and have NEVER BEEN TREATED WORSE. to be accused of trying to leave a Retail Location without paying for something, when we have spent over $75,000 in the past 3 years without any slight chance that we would steal, we dont understand this employee summoning us to verify our receipt, while other shopperswalked freely out with NO RECEIPT VERIFICATION???? in fact, again we repeat, we have NEVER BEEN ASKED TO SHOW OUR RECEIPT AT THIS OR ANY OTHER HOME DEPOT????? when the STORE MANAGER MARK was contacted via telephone 20 – 30 minutes later, he indicated that verifying receipts was a HOME DEPOT POLICY????then why have we NEVER BEEN ASKED TO DO THIS BEFORE?? THEN WHY WERE OTHER SHOPPERS WALKING OUT WITHOUT THEIR RECEIPTS BEING VERIFIED???? Manager kept referring to having my receipts verified at WALMART?? First of all, we DONT SHOP AT WALMART??? and 2ND, HAS HOME DEPOT BEEN PURCHASED BY WALMART??? and changed a POLICY???

Suggested solution:

Store personnel should be REPRIMANDED and MADE TO APOLOGIZE PERSONALLY to this PRO CUSTOMER for the MISUNDERSTANDING and HARASSMENT. WE WILL NOT BE HARASSED AT THIS HOME DEPOT OR ANY OTHER ESTABLISHMENT. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN US CHANGING OUR SHOPPING HABITS, TO NOT INCLUDE HOME DEPOT.
