My complaint:

I have had nothing but trouble with my remodel. I tried to use Home Depot for everything. It has been more stress and headache shopping at The Home Depot then I expected. I ordered a shower kit and it was delivered to the store weeks late and no base. Then I ordered all the kitchen appliances and I get a call before the date of delivery that it will be another month. Our lease is up on the 29th and we are moving into our remodel in a week. Now I had to cancel and return the shower kit and cancel all the appliances.

I have to purchase the appliances at a place called Appliances for Less and drive 300 miles roundtrip to my new house to deliver the appliances. I called Home Depot customer care and talked to Page and she talked to her supervisor and he was not willing to give me a store gift card of any amount to help me cover the extra expense of renting a Uhaul and driving it round trip 300 miles a week before we move

My contractor needs everything, so he can finish the remodel up so we can move in May 29th.

I have been shopping at Home Depot since it has opened and tried to do the whole remodel with The Home Depot. I shop at Lowe’s only when Home Depot doesn’t have what I need. Now I will shop at Lowe’s first and Home Depot only when Lowe’s does not have what I need.

Suggested solution:

A store gift card to keep me shopping at Home Depot to cover the Uhaul rental of .99 cents a mile.
