My complaint:
I recently went into the Rochester NH Home Depot to purchase 34 inch Advantec. I brought in a receipt from another retail lumber yard showing that I purchased this product at a lower price. Home Depot advertises that they will beat competitors prices by 10 percent. After I bought all the 34 inch
Advantec st that location, I went to Lowe’s to purchase more. Their price was even lower than the local lumber yards price so I went back to Home Depot to get a further reduction based on their advertising of beating the competition by 10 percent. My request was denied even though they “guarantee “ they will beat the competition by 10 percent. To me this is false advertising create a sense that a customer is getting the best price on items purchased. This is wrong!!!!
