The Home Depot complaint: 3rd party contractor not responding

My complaint:

We paid for the installation of a new refrigeratorfreezer. Home Depot sent a plumber to install a stop valve. The fridge was installed, but the ice maker is not working. We followed manufacturer directions and called LG first-they sent out a repairman within a few days and he advised that the problem was the stop valve, not the appliance. I have been calling Home Depot installation services since last week (Friday 1029)-no one was clear that that was what I needed to do. I was told I’d get a call win 24-48 hours-didn’t happen, called 11121 and told same thing, and they added that the company would call me and if I didn’t answer the phone it would be 2 days before they would try calling again. This is insane! HD sent out a person who didn’t do the job and supposedly we have no recourse because we can’t get name or number for the plumber.

Suggested solution:

Get the 3rd party plumber or someone else to come out and fix the problem so our ice maker will work.
