The Cheesecake Factory complaint: would not take my certificate and rude

My complaint:

on June 8th 2022 after we finished dinner and drinks paid my check ..I asked to use a birthday gift I received from a friend for a free piece of cheese cake to take out..I was told to got to the bakery counter , where I waited almost 15 minutes for the cashier to finally help me , when I handed her my certificate she with no explanation walked away off to a girl standing near by…..a manager then abruptly came up to me in front of my friends and other costumers and said this is expired I cannot take it ….sorry ..I said there is no expire date on it …sorry she said, and walked away….I was mortified at the treatment I received , along with disappointment …..OVER A FREE PIECE of cheesecake 🙁 I am a regular dinner guest and thought you should know of this upsetting experience I received .

Suggested solution:

AN APPOLOGY.... AND AT LEAST A GIFT CARD TO TRY YOUR CHEESECAKE AS MY CERTIFICATE WAS NOT RETURNED
