My complaint:

I have requested repeatedly since December of 2020 to receive a bank statement for the time period of September 2016, the entire month. The first time they sent the wrong months responding with statements for the months of July, and August. After that I didn’t received anything or so much as a call back concerning the request. I called TCF this year as well (2021) in, January, February (twice), March (twice) and recently again on June 3, 2021. I have completely lost confidence that they will respond appropriately and am considering other options to resolve the issue. This is an important bank statement because it shows a specific deposit that the IRS is questioning.

Suggested solution:

The should honor my request as a 25 year customer and simply find and send me the bank statement from September 2016.
