Swiss Chalet complaint: Poor food quality ..didn’t have the food we ordered

My complaint:

Yesterday feb6 2022 at 630 pm We ordered our meal on line.it was a crispy chicken family pack We paid on line. We received a phone call shortly after saying our order couldn’t be filled because no crispy chicken was available. We were offered an option to change the order. We declined at that time claiming we would talk it over and see if there was something else we would like. We called back in a couple of minutes with a new order and was informed that because we canceled our first order that the card company would return our money in 3 to 4 days and we must pay again for second order ; claiming this was the policy of the card provider. We placed the 2 nd order on line and paid again. Finally we received our order and soon wished we hadn’t. The order was incorrect when it arrived. Missing items. Food was also cold upon arrival but was on time so it must have been packed cold. Also two of the items were soggy. Spring rolls were not only soggy as the fries but were cold inside and the fries were not seasoned as ordered One of the quarter chickens came skinless and looked hacked up for some reason as well. Very disappointed in quality or lack of quality in the food. Finally once delivered the delivery guy charged me $45 for an order that was $44.94. Seems petty I guess but It was just another poor service. I gave him a fifty dollar bill and the driver started to walk away. I said excuse me and the driver turned back and said oh you want the change? I said yes please and then gave him a $3 tip even though that was rude of him. Needless to say the total Swiss chalet option was a poor choice this day

Suggested solution:

Well I guess for starters Swiss chalet should have the food they advertised available especially around supper time ...quality control possibility checking the order to ensure it is for starters what it’s supposed to be and then insure it’s edible and prepared properly and lastly if your going to allow a service that’s not Swiss chalet to deliver your food that you pick a good reputable service to deliver your product and represent your name. . I feel we have waisted $48 to get an optional order that turned out to be probably the worst service and food we have experienced to date
