My complaint:
The manager is not meant to work with people. I went downstairs for a cup of apple juice (there cups are Dixie cups) I got 2 then 2 cups for cereal I had in my room. He freaked out about the extra cup of apple juice and the spare cups. I explained the quality of their bowls are bad and just make a mess. He then went on to complain stating he has had my luggage down stairs all night. I apologized telling him the lady I asked to watch it said she ok and I put it right in front of the camera. He asked what I was on. Unfortunately all my medicine was in my suitcase that he just stated had been there all night. He was going to call the cops. I told him I have a mental illness. His response “you definitely need to go with the cops then”. No I deserve to live a life with the same services and treatment as someone with no disabilities, that is discrimination and illegal. At 1st I was to leave then, as I was walking away I could stay until 11am. I was just discriminated against I was leaving. I asked the front desk for my bag. I have a find my______ on my phone for my wallet billfold luggage (when flying) and a couple other things. I knew where it was. It was 20ft away from me. The girl went back and asked the supervisor if she could give me my belongings. He said “don’t give them to her”. The walls are thin. So he stole my suitcase with my medicine, hygiene products, make up, clothes, etc. Just acting like a bully with power. He found a crack pipe in my room they claim. I explained that’s a rented room it could have been the person before me or the 10th person before me. They argued that the maids would have found it. But that specific room had pills in the remote and no batteries (I bought batteries at target and flushed the pills) the toilet wouldn’t quit running so I lifted it up to see if the hook just came off and that had a couple pipes in it and a ball of baggies wrapped around baggies. So no their maids wouldn’t have found it, I don’t drink caffeine or consume any stimulants I wouldn’t have a crack pipe on me.
Suggested solution:
I want my suitcase asap. It has my medicine in it. Again he admitted to having it, I heard him tell the front desk clerk not to give it to me and i could see it’s location on my phone. This needs to be resolved. If he doesn’t like something he can’t just steal someone’s belongings. At any point in time he could have called my room and asked me to come get them and I would have. He didn’t need to yell at me and point his finger in my face. He has anger issues he needs worked out. I will also be filing a complaint with the ADA for discrimination against my disability. If he doesn’t want to see me as I don’t ever want to see that little man again. He can simply put it outside at a set time and I will grab it without even talking to anyone.
