My complaint:
Dear [BBB/Hotel Representative],
I am writing to report an unfortunate incident that occurred at the Super 8 hotel on [Date of Incident]. I booked a room and paid the full rate of $89 plus a $50 security deposit. However, I was falsely accused of smoking in the room and was escorted out by police at approximately 2 am without being given any compensation or alternative accommodation.
The hotel claimed they smelled marijuana, but I was not smoking. When the police arrived, they saw no evidence of smoking in the room. I had to spend the rest of the night outside as I could not afford another room and nearby hotels were not available.
I believe I was unfairly treated and would like this matter investigated. I request reimbursement for the room and security deposit, as I was not provided with the service I paid for.
