My complaint:
I had sent my boyfriend in to get formula for my sick child. Alice is an employee on the front end who had given him a hard time didn’t let him purchase these items because his name was not on my daughters wic checks. Because of covid there are exceptions to rules in place (after all he is the father of my child) but that is besides the point. This shouldn’t have even been a problem because she has his last name. He also had my main folder with him as verification. I then had to leave my sick child to go to the store myself. The folder numbers match the Id on the checks. With the last name matching it again shouldn’t have been an issue. She proceeded to tell me wic has strict guidelines she was just following policy and procedure. I have never experienced this problem at another store.
Suggested solution:
Speak to the employee make sure she is aware of wic policy’s procedures. I do not have a photo as proof as they keep all receipts along with the checks they mail back to wic to get credit. The employee that rang me up was actually very sweet I am unsure of his name but he was more pleasant than Alice very helpful.
