My complaint:
I am a long term customer, 20 yrs., at this store. Aug.17 between 1 and 3 pm, I was verbally insulted by the security person. As I was at the self check out, he approached me, stating that he had seen me speaking with a young woman who he was following around the store.. He wanted to know what had been said. I told him that it was none of his concern, and he had no right to approach me and to speak to me in that manner, at which point he became very disrespectful, raising his voice. I was rather shaken up by this, and spoke with the store manager as I was leaving.. I expressed my concern to him. The manager said he would speak with this security person, and that was really all he could do. When I arrived home, I considered contacting our local paper……I did not. I am reporting the situation to you instead, hoping you will make a complaint to the security company.
Suggested solution:
By contacting the security company, ing them to the disrespectful behaviour of this particular person and perhaps questioning their own training procedures.
