Sixt complaint: Charge of Damage Compensation

My complaint:

Dear Customer Services,

I would like to bring this complaint to your attention after i fed up with addressing my feedback to SIXT UAE Branch.

Please note that I did not sign or acknowledge to accept charging me damage compensation if I “Only provide an Affected Party – Police Report like UAE Branch told me. It happened that car scratched when I was parking in Dubai lot and I called police and I got a report that I am 100% affected party against unknown.
We are also not sure if another vehicle hit SIXT’s vehicle or scratches caused by human sources as we observed that construction work was near by the parking area and possible that someone with trolley scratches without using other car.

I did not choose the full insurance at the counter because I agreed that I take the liability with a maximum of 5250 AED only if it is my fault and this is not the case.
I also informed office when I returned the car that SIXT shouldn’t charge me in this case as it is not my fault and I brought the police report as that was also requested by customer services and counter on the same day after I saw the scratches and checked what to do to clear my responsibility on this case.

I see it is not fair at all to charge me on these circumstances and legal consultant also ed that SIXT doesn’t have the right to charge me 5250 AED in light of below statement on the contract.
Please see attached agreement.
As per signed contract I agreed to pay damage if it not covered by police report which is not the case.

Therefore, I request you to please revisit this charge and discuss it with UAW Branch and return AED 5250 back to credit card as I do not accept it.
I would also remind you that I am a regular customer (my profile ID 45765634) and we used to deal with SIXT for more than 20 years with never had such a problem.
