My complaint:
I complained to the assistant manager of the store today about the lack of cleanliness in the store. The entrance door is marked with dirt and fingerprints; store baskets and carts are encrusted in dirt; rugs are dirty; the floor in the store has litter all the time; the floor is grey rather than white, scuffed, with smears of dirt; counters in the pharmacy are dirty and have litter on them; glass on the freezer is marked and dirty. This is not new – it has been getting worse for about 2 or 3 years. The assistant manager said the floor was cleaned twice a week – should it not be cleaned every single day?? The store is dirty and needs a very good cleaning and then regular maintenance. I’m not sure it would even pass a city inspection at the moment.
Suggested solution:
Clean the store and keep it clean. And let’s strive for something better than just okay - make it clean.
