My complaint:
On February 20th I purchased several items in which one item was a Father’s Day card. When I returned home the card was not in the bag with the rest of my items. I checked my receipt and I was indeed charged for the card. The next day my husband went into the store for a refund and inform what happened, however, the cashier said I don’t know how to do refunds and there’s no manager here. This seems unbelievable for a large popular store that a refund cannot be obtained during store hours. Now what are the chances a customer will go out of their way to go back into the store a second time to try to get the refund within a reasonable amount of time before being told it’s too late for a refund.
Suggested solution:
In my case I believe I should be refunded by gift card mailed to my address so I don’t have to go back into the store unless I am able to get the refund with no time limit since I already tried once.
