My complaint:
My doctor faxed a prescription to Shoppers for a blood thinner medication in pill form. The strength of each pill was supposed to be 5 mg, which I was supposed to cut in half, taking 2.5 mg in the morning, and 2.5 in the evening. Shoppers reduced the strength to 2.5 mg. This is in effect doubling my cost, as I must take 2 2.5 mg pills each day, rather than 1 5 mg pill, cut in half.
Suggested solution:
I would like Shoppers to refund me the difference between what I was charged, (approx $360), and what the doctor intended this prescription would cost me.
