Priceline complaint: DO NOT USE PRICELINE FOR ANYTHING!!!!

My complaint:

In March of 2020 I purchased 4 flight tickets to Hawaii, well the pandemic hit and we could not go. Priceline told me that that could not refund me my money but I would have a credit for each of the 4 tickets I purchased for the Hawaii trip. So we used some of the credit in July of 2021 and flew to Montana. Well that trip was not has expensive as the trip to Hawaii was so we still had credit on our account. Priceline told us that we had 1 year to use it that was as of June of 2021. Well my husband and I flew to Denver in September of 2021 using our portion of our credit. Well that still left the credit of my kids on their account because Priceline would not let us combine it. We again were told that we had a year to use it. So this year in February of 2022 we decided to go back to Denver and take our kids and use their credit for their tickets. So I called Priceline because they told me I needed to book back with them. We were going to fly in July of 2022 and just pay the difference. After spending an hour and 12 on the phone with a really polite gentleman he ed everything and I was under the impression that we could use our credit. He put me on hold (for about the 15x) and a lady came on (who was extremely rude) she started asking me some of the same questions I just answered to the guy. I asked her where was the guy I was talking to and she said he sent you to me she then told me that I could not use my credits for our July of 2022 trip because it needed to used and traveled by March 2, 2022. Now remind you I had already spent over an hour on the phone with someone who had told me that all was good. I told her I was not aware that we needed to travel before that time. She said rudely well we sent you and email in July of 2021 telling you this I did not get this email or I would have remember it. So I asked her what happens to my money if we don’t use it she said it just goes away In my mind that is stealing because they have my money and refuse to refund it to me or allow me to use it. The airlines tell me they can’t help because Priceline buys them in bulk and when they do that then the airlines have no control of them from that point. I feel I am being ripped off. I would like a refund of allowed to use my credit when I want to.

Suggested solution:

I would like refund or allowed to use my credit when I want and not have to use it when they want me too. It's my money!!!!
