My complaint:
I dropped off clothes July 6th around 5pm. They told me they would be ready by 6pm. I live an hour and a half away from the store. They called me at 7:30pm and by that time I was long home and they told me I needed to come back by 8pm to get my clothes I dropped off. The store closes at 9pm. I told them I would have to come in tomorrow and she gave me great grief about it but I had already headed home after waiting way over the time they said. I then stopped by today on July 7th to get my clothes on my lunch break from work and they told me they turned it into store credit since I didn’t answer my phone during the day today. I work as a banker and cannot take personal calls while working. They then told me I could no longer sell clothes because I wasn’t able to answer my phone while they were calling me at 1pm today. I stopped by as soon as I could on my lunch and there was nothing else I could do. I believe I deserve cash and not store credit for them taking longer than expected yesterday. They were also so hostile to me today saying I can’t sell anymore because I was unable to answer my phone while working. They also didn’t even tell me what clothes they took and how much they were worth. I have no clue what they took and if I even wanted to sell it for the amounts they took it for. When I walked in they just handed me the store credit slip and whatever they didn’t take.
Suggested solution:
I would like cash or check and an itemized list of what they took. I want to know how much each item was worth. As well as I want my store credit reverted to cash or check.
