My complaint:
Paid over £1100 pounds for 1 week at the end of July , we were given the details of caravan but on arrival the van had a sticker stating that it could not be used and to go to reception, at reception they were clueless as to why this had happened but offered us the only caravan left because they were fully booked. We went to the van to find that the dirty sheets from the previous family were still there so returned for a second time to be told that it had been cleaned but the beds needed making , we again went to the van and on entry we could clearly see that it had not been cleaned, yet another visit to reception and they finally sorted a cleaner ,it was now 5.30pm and stress levels were high. The caravan . number 4 sycamore is situated behind the show dome and the noise levels at 6am with staff arriving, and may i add with no concern for anyone who may be sleeping and also between 12pm and 1am when they were taking out or i should say throwing glass bottles into the bins to save them going up and down the steps this terrified our 2 yr old grand daughter who was woken by the noise.,i tried shouting to them at 12,30 one morning to show that they had woken us only to be laughed at Deliveries early morning were also so loud that we were not able to relax all week , we knew that there were no other caravans available and had it not been for the older children and ruining their holiday we would have left . We booked the swimming pool but were not able to use it because of electrical issues . We work so hard to save for our holiday and we have been left exhausted, stressed and feeling that we have not even had a holiday This was our first holiday at the park and our experience was not nice.
Suggested solution:
Another holiday in quieter area of park or partial refund and also speak to staff about respecting others at certain hrs .
