My complaint:

We rented a caravan at camber over the queens jubilee, on the last night my husband put 2 pairs of glasses on a glass shelf whereby the shelf fell down and toppled onto my shoulder and across Alfie’s head. The cut was bleeding profusely and an ambulance called. My son in law went to security to them as to where the caravan was. A first aider was called and came back with security both brilliant ambulance arrived and Alfie taken to hospital. Health and safety attended and told us that due to a previous incident they had asked that all these glass panels were removed. It was discovered that the glass was being held on by 3 hinges only. The incident was reported to manager at time and on going home he said that an investigation would be launched and would be ready in 3 weeks. As arranged my daughter rang after 4 weeks and was told the manager hadn’t even logged the incident and that another investigation would need to take place. After numerous phone calls and promises we are nowhere near being any further along. Not one single person have asked how Alfie is and maybe to me that is the worst thing a little boy of 6 years old it’s disgraceful! We do not want to take the route of informing a solicitor but feel we are no further along the road that when the accident happened?

Suggested solution:

I feel a refund of the cost of holiday a small goodwill gesture and refund of money paid for activity that had been booked!
