Parkdean Resorts complaint: Lack of communication about refund of deposit on a sale of a caravan

My complaint:

Visited holiday park on the 28th August 2021. I put a deposit of £2500 on a used caravan.

On the 4th of September 2021 I phoned Parkdean resorts to say I needed my deposit back due to an emergency at home and please could you tell me the procedure.

One of the sales team said no problem, they said they would email the paper work over to me straight away.

Since then I had to call the sales team numerous of times. The lack of communication is unacceptable on their part.
Last week I received the paper work and I email straight back to them.
I have yet again phoned emailed the sales team to try and find out when I will be getting my money back into my account. Yet again I am not getting any answers.

The service that they are providing is not acceptable the are quick to take my money but not to give it back.

I am so glad that I did not go through with the sale of the caravan due to their lack of care and understanding.

Suggested solution:

Put my money back into my bank account.
Apologise for any stress and inconvenience that they have caused me.
