My complaint:
My holiday was booked and I paid £80. I was not advised during booking that I would owe another £50. I then received an email on 14th may to advise the holiday had been cancelled. I’m very confused. I didn’t realise I owed anything but am more than happy to pay the £50. I thought I would have received another notice email maybe the day before it was cancelled. I called and was told there was absolutely nothing they could do for me, they had cancelled my holiday and retained my £80 I had paid. Surely this is unethical? No other company would cancel like this with no notice. See in the evidence attached I have not received any email to advise I owed anything. I booked hol in January.
Suggested solution:
Refund or reinstate holiday
