Packlink complaint: Total rip off

My complaint:

I sent a parcel that I sold on eBay through packlink.
The tracking showed that the parcel had been delivered but the customer put the funds on hold as the parcel infarct had not arrived.
I found out by packlink that it had been held up by yodel as there was a problem at their sorting office.and they promised it would be delivered soon.
3 weeks later eBay refunded the customer the full amount as it still had not been delivered.
I made a complaint to packlink who directed me to inpost who said they needed to do a investigation.
6 weeks later I get a email to say the parcel had been delivered and they appogised for the delay, I went on to explain that eBay had already refunded the money so I needed componsated.
They directed back to packlink and I filled a claim form in only to be told the time limit for making the claim had past.

Suggested solution:

Refund the selling price and my money for postage
