My complaint:
I have been trying to cancel my prime subscription since 30th August. The instructions given on the internet and by their chat bot are out of date. When I log onto my account and and go to the cancel prime menu I am asked to either engage with the chat bot or telephone. With eh chat bot the instructions are out of date and when I select speak to an agent there is never anyone available. When I call I receive an automated message that my request to cancel my account is in process and that I will receive an email which I haven’t yet. When I signed up to the 30 day free trial it stated it was easy to cancel at any time. This is clearly not the case. I cannot afford £50 to come out of my account.
Suggested solution:
Cancel my subscription, refund any monies taken and inform me
