Nandos complaint: Takeaway Disaster

My complaint:

Well, I never!!
What a total disgraceful service from the New Nando’s new ‘Online Centralised food outlet ‘.
My husband and I went over to our son’s house last night to have some quality time with the family, . Sean Samuels Anna’s house . lwe asked what type of Takeaway would they like and they all shouted NANDOS. It was their favourite Take away meal!
Sean placed an order to the value of The value of £101, (not a cheap meal by any means, but we were really looking forward to it).
The meal arrived some 45 mins later and
Sean and Anna quickly set about serving it onto plates .
Nfortubatepy, my husband Mikes Butterfly Chicken was not there.
Sean rang the central Cistomer Support number for Nando’s to have this missing item delivered.
Such a long and disturbing conversation ensued from the Customer Service man, named ‘Demi’, was unbelievably unhelpful.
He said he could not have this missing meal delivered to us and would only process a refund which would take up to 72 hours.
Both Sean, (who himself has had many years work experience as a Customer Service agent), and my husband Mike trued to find a good resolution to ensure we got our full meals that we had ordered, but to no avail. Mike even offered to get in his car and drive to the local new Outlet at Tge Gyle , some 29 mins away, so we could all eat, but Demi insisted that this would not work as this branch may not have had the specific item in the store.
Our meals were now cold and we were. Eginningbto lose our appetite. The kids were tired and upset and so were we.

At the end of the day we were given no option other than to accept a refund for this one item!

This refund is now being processed, but funnily enough is going to take 7-10 working days to clear.
What kind of customer service is this?
If either myself or my son Sean had ever treated any customers similar to this, we would have lost our jobs.
I would really like to know what you think of this situation we were put in as I can’t believe you would condone this.

Please respond! This is totally outrageous, we spend £101, our evening was ruined and you have accepted to responsibility to sort out a problem of your making!

Suggested solution:

I would suggest a full refund as our whole evening meal was spoilt.
A main course was missing, we spent 40 mins on a call to an incompetent customer service advisor, by which time everything else was cold, the kids were tired and upset and so were no longer able to face this food.
