My complaint:
I purchased airline tickets via Mytrip. I was directed to their site after searching airline fares on Kayak. I used Mytrio’s mobile app to book and purchase. When making purchase, Mytrip offers a dizzying array of upcharges options – for basic service and all seemingly bogus. It appears that if you go not purchase any of the upcharge options, Mytrip will then create an error booking that will require the customer to pay exorbitant fees ($192 USD for a $250 USD ticket) to correct. They are an unscrupulous and fraudulent business and are attempting to extort customers.
Suggested solution:
They should cancel the duplicate booking they made for me and refund the duplicate charge.
