Placed an order that was to arrive Sun the 31st Jan 2021.
My husband received an email saying we would not receive the order as the van broke down and delivery would arrive the next day.
Very late that night a man knocked on our door and said he was there with our order and knew nothing about it been canceled, I told him I was not opening the door as it was so late at night, he could have been anyone.
My husband rang on Mon and was informed the delivery would be with us later that day, we waited till midnight and the order never came, he again rang on Tues and was informed there was a problem and the order would arrive later that evening and again it never arrived.
Today is Wednesday the 0302 2021 and again we were informed it was coming and later today my husband rang up and then was informed the order was not coming and we were been given a refund.
He informed the lady he spoke to that we did not want our monies refunded, we wanted our order.
We are both shielding and rely on Morrisons for our food delivery and they HAVE LET US DOWN.
We are totally disgusted with Morrisons, we are trying to keep safe and they let us down, we now have to come out of shielding to go shopping.
Asda was criticized tonight on the ONE SHOW for doing what Morrison’s has done to us this week.
Big stores have to play their part in this pandemic, how are we vulnerable supposed to keep safe when big stores like this let us down.
We could not get an order till the 12th, so for 9 days, we have to live on fresh air as we have no one to go shopping for us.
I will be taking this matter further and will be looking to get reimbursed for the phone calls that we should not have had to make.
MORRISON hang your head in shame, letting the vulnerable down at this time.
